Peeps Crafting Contest at MichaelsLet's Make some Bunny and Chick Peeps!
Supplies you will need: Empty Milk Carton Glue Gun Sewing machine (optional) Felt or fleece or any fabric Ribbon or Fabric for Bow Buffalo Snow Optional: Grass for inside if not using Buffalo Snow for inside Patience and Creativity! First, I cut out pattern for head and body areas. Next, sewed Bunny head together. Third, we stuffed the Bunny head with Buffalo Snow. Then, we glued eyes and nose on. Finally, we cut out hole where opening on the carton will be. Next, we covered the bottom of carton. Then, we glued the top of the Bunny Peep head to the bottom. I wanted to use a nice plaid ribbon, but also wanted to recycle. So, I used some old fabric (we liked it rough cut), but you can also sew it together and make a nice finished edge. Finally, we added in some Buffalo Snow to mimic the inside of a tasty marshmallow Peep. I don't have detailed instructions for the yellow Chick Peep, but we made that as well. The bottom is a piece of cardboard. The middle is a large yellow egg that we covered with yellow fleece and the top is sewn fleece stuffed and glued. We used the same inside method as the Bunny. I plan on adding instructions, so stay tuned. Enjoy! #peeps #chicks #bunnies #michaels #michaelscrafting #crafting #easterbasket #diy #artist #kidcrafts #easter
